This is a draft post without content currently. Hoping that someone would implement and write about how to install Mirth Connect on Azure in a load balanced way and move HL7 and DICOM content through it and then do the same with Azure tools and compare the results.
As a starting point, this article by Joseph Fontes on Creating a Healthcare Data Hub with AWS and Mirth Connect is really interesting.
I would suggest to do the project with a free Azure account which one can use for 12 months.
